Minha Filha Mavi - Uma jornada extraordinária rumo à maternidade

Duygu’s route to motherhood takes an unexpected turn when her fear of pregnancy leads her and her husband to surrogacy. Their plans are disrupted first by the pandemic and then by the invasion of Ukraine, where the woman carrying their daughter is preparing to give birth.

This personal account follows the uncertainty of becoming parents at a distance and the journey to bring their baby home from a country at war. The story stays close to the family’s decisions, setbacks and moments of hope as they try to reach their daughter.

This is the Portuguese edition of the memoir. The free reading sample is also in Portuguese.
